We understand why most of our patients seek help from The Mind Body Institute. transparent.pngThey are either using acupuncture as an adjunctive therapy to enhance the health care they are receiving or they come to us because standard therapies, medications and treatments have been ineffective. Many of our patients are seeking a more natural treatment as a way to regain control of their own health.

Whatever your reason might be for coming to us for help, we will treat you the way we like to be treated ourselves.

We will approach your case in a fair, sensible and practical way. We will start with a treatment-trial to determine if acupuncture will work for you. A cumulative response should be realized as the treatments progress.  You will then schedule subsequent treatments accordingly.

Here is how we will determine if acupuncture will help you:

  1. We will carefully assess your condition.
  2. We will inform you as to whether we believe we can help you.
  3. We will recommend a specific number of treatments to serve as a trial to determine if your condition will respond.
  4. We will try our absolute best to give you the best possible care.
  5. If there is a change in your condition within the trial period we will continue. If not, then we will discontinue treatment.
  6. We will empower you, the patient, to oversee the treatment process including assessing results and controlling the scheduling of visits.

We strive to build a healing response, not dependency on us.
